I photograph weddings solo, which keeps things relaxed and low‑profile. People let their guard down when there is no crew of cameras around, and that is when I can calm nerves, spark laughter, and notice the quiet in‑between moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Whether you’re exchanging vows along the North Shore or on a beach halfway around the world, my goal is the same: imagery that brings you right back to how your day felt.

The Photographer

Hi, I’m Jackson.

I earned my place in The Knot Hall of Fame not because of any single image, but because of how couples feel working with me.

What makes my approach different is how I connect. I truly care, and people feel it. That’s where we get the good stuff.

I planted my first organic garden in 2006 and I have grown my own food ever since. Not perfectly, but consciously, in every choice I make. I care about the planet, about people, about animals, about the future. I want a successful business, not one that costs everything else.

That is why Greener Photography certified me in 2012, before it was cool, the highest rated eco‑friendly photographer in Minnesota. Photo District News ran a feature on it the next year, and Photo World, out of Beijing, gave it five pages. I don’t do trends in my photography and I don’t do trends in my life. I pay a premium to businesses whose values align with mine, so I understand what you are looking for. I am looking for the same things.
