I’m humbled once again, with another honor by Peerspace, recognizing me as one of the best Minneapolis wedding photographers. Being recognized as a top photographer in the Minneapolis area is a great honor considering the giant pool of talent we have here in the Twin Cities. Previous top wedding photography honors have come to me from The Knot, and WeddingWire, but I particularly love what Peerspace wrote about me in this one below:

“Award-winning Minneapolis wedding photographer Jackson Tyler Eddy has an impeccable reputation as a local and destination wedding photographer. He is adventurous, empathetic, and a born storyteller. The wedding photos he captures brim with the personality of the brides, grooms, and guests he photographs. He really shines as a documentary photographer –– with his keen eye for detail, as well as his ability to notice all the little hints of passion that emerge when two people in love are near each other. His photographs tell real love stories in a way that no amateur could ever hope to replicate”

Thank you Peerspace, and thank you to all of my most awesome clients. I truly love what I do!

In addition to this awesome honor, I’ve also been recognized by Expertise.com as one of the best wedding photographers in Minneapolis.

Hall of Fame Honors!!!

Hall of Fame Honors!!!

Humbled to announce that I’ve won both The Knot’s “Best of Weddings Award” and WeddingWire’s “Couples’ Choice Award” for the 4th year in a row. I was also honored with the “Hall of Fame” award from The Knot for the consecutive years of recognition.

And as always my favorite part of these awards is that they are based on the wonderful reviews from all the awesome clients I get to work with each year. I’m so lucky in that regard and I cannot wait for what lies ahead in 2016. Many thanks and cheers!

***In other news I haven’t been able to update my site in quite some time as I’ve been just shooting and traveling all over this past year, and cannot get away from my editing station. Once I’m all caught up though I’ll be launching a brand new website with TONS of new work to show. Very excited to share! In the meantime my Instagram account @aframeforward has the latest tidbits and behind the scenes.

2015 Best of Awards | Wedding Photographer

I’m honored to announce that I have won two prestigious Wedding Photography distinctions, the 2015 The Knot “Best of Weddings” and the 2015 WeddingWire “Couples’ Choice” awards.

These awards recognize the top 5% of all wedding professionals nationwide. This is my third year in a row winning both of these awards and my absolute favorite part of them is that they are both based on actual client reviews, which couldn’t make me happier. Can’t wait to work with another round of awesome couples in the year ahead!

Old Faithful Under Moonlight / National Geographic

UPDATE: Just got word that this image was published today (4.23.2014) in National Geographic‘s Daily Dozen, as chosen by their editors. WooHoo! Check it out here: http://on.fb.me/1jLwAMO

The perks of proximity… My schedule had me out west to shoot an engagement session in Colorado, and to shoot 4 shows of the Nicholas David & The Avett Brothers tour in the Pacific Northwest. Once their tour leg had ended in Missoula, Montana I was able to sneak over to Yellowstone National Park for a really quick first visit.

On a very late October evening I sat quietly for 90 minutes, under the glowing stars of Yellowstone, waiting to see Old Faithful blow for the first time. I had the camera settings all dialed in for the gorgeous night sky when, unexpectedly, the moon began to break, and rise perfectly over the mountains, pouring on the gorgeous moonlight, just as Old Faithful began to blow. It was one of those magical moments where you just stand in awe of the beauty and wonderment of this world. =D

*If this kind of photography floats your boat I do share a decent amount of other landscape images over on my Facebook page and one here too.  I plan on adding a section to this site with a bunch more of my Landscape work as well, if I can ever catch up on my client work.  =D

2014 Couples’ Choice Award Winner | Wedding Photography

Very honored to announce that, for the second year in a row, I have received the Couples’ Choice (formerly Bride’s Choice) Award from WeddingWire, recognizing the top 5% of wedding professionals nationwide.  The best part about the award is that it is based on actual reviews from my clients.  I had such a blast working with all of you this past year.  Looking forward to more great couples in this year ahead.  Thank you!
