Capturing corporate event photography for forward thinking companies is something I truly love to do. Each year EY (formerly Ernst & Young) recognizes and celebrates the advancement of it’s global leaders in Orlando, Florida.
What separates EY from other companies is their commitment to continual personal growth, professional growth, teamwork, and inclusiveness. EY knows the value of it’s people, and is continually working on fostering those relationships and empowering it’s people.
Not only does EY spare no expense wining & dining their newly promoted employees during this weeklong event, at one of 4 gorgeous Orlando resorts, but they also bring in some of the most influential and inspiring keynote speakers and presenters. I’m a sucker for great messages and inspiring stories, so it makes capturing those moments even more meaningful. EY holds development classes, activities, and workshops all week long as well, while throwing some truly amazing parties in the evenings.
EY Milestones Corporate Event Photography Highlights:
Here are highlights from my recent commercial photography shoot for Shamrock Development’s new Portland Tower condo project in Minneapolis, MN.
The building interiors are currently being finished so, for this portion of the project, we focused on the beautiful views from the 17th floor balconies. Half of the units face the surging Downtown East neighborhood, anchored by the beautiful new Minnesota Vikings Stadium and the newly opened Downtown East Commons Park, while the others face south and towards downtown Minneapolis. The Downtown East area is just booming with growth and poised to be one of the hottest neighborhoods in Minneapolis. Check out more details about this awesome Minneapolis condo project as there are some gorgeous units still available.
This commercial photography shoot for Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii during Wanderlust Festival was awesome. For this project, Turtle Bay wanted some great lifestyle shots of the festival for their social media (which I have in a separate post here) and they also wanted me to create a property detail and landscape stock for their future marketing efforts, both internally and externally. We did some great test shots in their Beach Cottages which they were in the process of updating during that time as well. Those photos were used to help envision the final concept design for the spaces. Working on the nuts and bolts of business marketing with the great ladies over there was a lot of fun. If you ever get a chance to go to Oahu’s fabled North Shore, Turtle Bay will do you right for sure.
Lifestyle flavored Commercial Photography… I’ve been a huge fan of the Sebastopol, California based organic beverage brand Guayaki Yerba Mate for years. I started as a die hard customer and from there our relationship grew organically…just like their mate. I’d snap photos during my landscape photography adventures or when location scouting for my destination weddings with a bottle of “Enlighten Mint” or “Pure Endurance” (now called Tangerine Terere) which is my favorite. Guayaki’s social media coordinator found my photos on Instagram and started sharing them on their social media channels. As both of our businesses have grown, so has our relationship. What makes me the most proud to be an “Amigo De Guayaki” (as they call it) is their socially-conscious efforts to be stewards of the land. Leveraging their Market-Driven Restoration business model they are embarking on a mission to restore 200,000 acres of South American Atlantic Rainforest and create 1,000 living wage jobs by 2020. They’re also Fair Trade and Organic Certified. Of course this all works beautifully for them (and us) because their products are absolutely delicious and uplifting. Trade a cup of mate for coffee one day and see what I mean. This is a collection of images that I’ve shot for, or granted licensed to Guayaki to use for their marketing efforts. #ComeToLife Here’s a gallery of some iPhone images shared on our Instagram channels (@aframeforward + @guayaki) over the years…
