Senior photos capture such an amazing time in kids lives with the emerging of a unique young adult and their bright future ahead.

I’ve been a professional photographer for 15 years and have traveled all over the world shooting fancy celebrity events and luxury weddings but it’s always great to shoot right here at home in Eagan.

I graduated from Eagan High School myself (love you too Eastview High School) and remember how special and meaningful these times were. It really is an honor to capture that for someone and I love the fact that they won’t really know how special it all is until later in life. I want my photos to flood them with feelings as they move through life. And of course I want to warm the hearts of their proud parents/guardians both now and for decades to come as well.

My photography style is not a stuffy sit-here-and-pose and show your teeth to the camera type of thing. I want to capture each seniors one-of-a-kind personality and true spirit in these photos. I want to incorporate their passions, hobbies, and interests, as these are the type of photos that will hit deep into our souls when we look back on them in the years ahead.

Eagan has some really great location options for senior photos due to the city’s long standing commitment to parks and thriving green spaces. We are truly lucky to live here.

Top 7 Locations for Senior Photos in Eagan:

  1. Lebanon Hills Regional Park – Lebanon has amazing diversity with its lakes, beaches, open prairies, abundant flowers, and its awesome pine and deciduous forest mix.
  2. Patrick Eagan Park – This is a smaller version of Lebanon but with much less people around. There are some great natural structures that work awesome in the photos too. I’ve lived next to this park for the last 8 years so I know all the secret little sweet spots here.
  3. Holz Farm Park – This location offers some really nice colorful backgrounds with its yellow farmhouse and bright red barn. There’s also some nice naturally weathered barn wood sheds, flowers, and peaceful greenery all around.
  4. Eagan Central Park – This is a perfect spot for those who are just a little less adventurous in the woods as it’s really easy to get around and the landscaping and backdrops are still really nice.
  5. Blackhawk Park – Hills, flowers, open green spaces, woods, wooden fishing dock and bridge, and a paved hiking trail.
  6. Thomas Lake Park – Great path around the lakes as well as some cool ponds surrounded by rolling prairies filled with wildflowers.
  7. Caponi Art Park: – A very cool sculpture garden with hiking trails throughout the wooded property. There are also wildflowers, open green spaces, and small access points to the lake nearby.

Your photos session is not limited to staying in Eagan however. Many of my seniors want part of their session in the beautiful parks of Eagan and then the other half at cool locations around Minneapolis & St. Paul. I can share a more exhaustive list of awesome locations with you for your session too.

How much do Senior Photos Cost in Eagan?

The average price of senior photos in Eagan range from $500 – $2500 for a true professional of their craft. As with most things in life you get what you pay for so I’d recommend allocating a little more budget for these once-on-a-lifetime photos. If that’s not possible there are lower budget options available too, as you can hire someone who is just starting their career or you can always find a friend who is an amateur/hobbyist photographer too.
