Minnehaha Falls / Minneapolis Landscape Photography
On the rainiest June day ever in Minneapolis, professional kayaker Hunt Jennings from Chattanooga, TN plunged down the 53 foot drop Minnehaha Falls.
Unfortunately for me I showed up to check out the surge of water about 20 minutes too late. Fortunately though I did have my trusty Nikon and tripod to capture this shot.
The second image is the totally flooded area above the falls where you can see the, one time controversial, sculpture of Hiawatha and Minnehaha which was inspired by The Song of Hiawatha.
