These Napa Valley engagement photos at Artesa Winery were such a joy to capture. The grounds at Artesa are a dream, sweeping views, modern design, and artful details everywhere you look. But what made this session truly special wasn’t just the stunning scenery. iT was my incredible couple and the easy, genuine love they shared throughout the day.

A Modern Winery with Timeless Views

Perched high on a hill overlooking the Carneros region of Napa Valley, Artesa Winery is one of the most architecturally striking wineries in California. Its sleek, bunker-like main building and mirrored pools set the stage for a mix of modern elegance and natural beauty.

We started our session around the main winery grounds, making use of the sculptural architecture, reflecting pools, and incredible light that hits the vineyards in the late afternoon. The combination of art, design, and natural surroundings made for one-of-a-kind engagement photos.

Exploring the Vineyards and Beyond

After finishing up near the tasting room and sculpture garden, we received permission to explore deeper into the grape vineyards themselves. The timing couldn’t have been better, fall had painted the vines in vibrant shades of gold, amber, and deep green.

As we wandered through the rows of grapes, my couple’s laid-back nature and genuine connection came alive in front of the camera. From quiet, romantic moments to bursts of laughter, they made it easy to create images that truly reflect their story.

We wrapped up the session venturing deeper into Napa Valley, discovering winding roads, olive tree rows, tall golden grasses, and rolling hills with incredible panoramic views, the perfect ending to a perfect day in wine country.
