A Perfect Summer Wedding at the Nicollet Island Pavilion.
Addie & Chris had the most awesome Nicollet Island Pavilion wedding. It was another perfect day at this top notch Minneapolis wedding venue. As you’ll see in the large gallery of images below, this bride & groom had the most joyous and fun loving spirits. As a Minneapolis wedding photographer I’m blessed to work with such cool, down-to-earth-couples. I always think that future weddings will never top previous ones I’ve shot, until weddings like Addie & Chris’ come along.
I’ll share some wedding and venue details below, along with a highlight reel of images. I’ll also include an extended gallery of images. This will be helpful to those looking to plan their own wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion.
Nicollet Island Pavilion – Wedding Venue Info:
Sitting on the bank of the Mississippi River, with sweeping downtown Minneapolis skyline views, Nicollet Island Pavilion provides one of the best wedding venues in the Twin Cities. Being in close proximity to the Nicollet Island Inn, the Stone Arch Bridge, Saint Anthony Main, Father Hennepin Park, and the Hennepin Avenue Bridge gives you more perfect photo locations than your average wedding venue. It truly is one of a kind.
This venue can accommodate 500 guests seated and over 5,000 in a mingling setup. You have the option to have your ceremony outside, or under a covered canopy, if the weather becomes an issue. Be sure to take a tour of the facility and the surrounding area. I think you’ll love it!
Wedding Day Details:
Addie & Chris started their day with a sweet first look, and a super thoughtful gift exchange, at the home that Addie grew up in. After all those happy tears we headed towards the Stone Arch Bridge, an iconic Minneapolis landmark. From there we made our way to the venue to meet up with the family and wedding party for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. The wedding ceremony kicked off with Addie’s aunts and uncle (whom are very accomplished Broadway performers) playing and singing beautiful music. These kinds of touches on the wedding day really make it extra special. The ceremony was heart warming and full of more laughter and happy tears. The rest of the day held the same awesome pattern from dinner, to the speeches, to the epic dance party. So honored to be a part of this one.
